In my explorations of this vibrant eatery, I was captivated by the simple yet warm ambiance. The decor may not scream extravagance, but it exudes a cozy charm that enhances your experience. Upon entering, the aroma of spices ignites your senses and prepares you for the feast to come.

The hallmark of any great restaurant lies in its offerings, and Bombay Spices doesn't disappoint. Regular patrons rave about the Chicken Makani, a luscious curry that embodies the perfect balance of flavor and spice. Meanwhile, the Beef Vindaloo comes highly recommended, though some diners expressed a preference for its mutton counterpart. The Gobi Manchurian is another standout; it's a delightful fusion dish that marries Indian and Chinese flavors seamlessly.

Customers rave about the Plain Pulau Rice, noting its spiced delicacy that surpasses even some biryani options. Compliments pour in for the generous portions and the enticing flavors, which boast a rich array of herbs and spices. Always love the food here. Simple ambiance but the food will transport you to India. Ordered the Chicken Makani (excellent), Beef Vindaloo (very good but prefer the mutton version), Gobi Manchurian (So good), and a plain Pulau rice (which has some spices. Better than briyani and goes so well with the dishes). Always 5/5

Actual good food, chicken is cooked well and juicy. Service is also attentive. One downside is the music, they cant decide between the Quran and the radio, both of them playing simultaneously is a bit jarring. Will edit the review if my next visit is satisfactory.

Foods served in good portions and nicely cooked. Spicy but acceptable, full with fresh herbs aroma. If can upgrade the interior would be ideal, but clean and comfy so still good to explore the authentic Indian cuisine in Kuching

One of the better restaurants if you are looking for Indian food. The price is a bit on the high side but the food is delicious. Palak paneer is a bit too salty for our liking though. Very quiet place, we were the only diners on that week nite. Service is ok. The staffs are friendly.

Briyani chicken tikka-tandoori & briyani mutton with curry gravy taste good. Moreover this 2025 promotion with free drink

One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants around in town. A wide variety of food choices available serving delicious authentic tasting Indian food. Dining atmosphere is very comfortable in an air conditioned space.

I recently dined at Bombay Spices Sdn Bhd in Lorong Nanas, Satok, and overall it was a satisfying experience for anyone craving good Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a relaxed, clean atmosphere and offers a decent variety of dishes — ideal for both groups and solo meals. The decor is simple and unpretentious, which lets the food be the star. I ordered several items: Chicken Makani, Beef Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, and some vegetarian sides. The chicken makani was creamy and rich, with the right balance of sauce and spices. The beef vindaloo packed a punch, though perhaps a bit more heat than some diners might expect. My favourite was definitely the garlic naan — soft, fragrant, with a lovely crisp on the edges. The bread paired really well with the gravies. The palak paneer was decent, though for my taste the spinach could have been a bit fresher. The portion sizes are generous, and you do get good value for what you order. Drinks and side items are slightly pricey compared to local mamak-style places, but they feel worth it given the quality and ambience. Staff were friendly and attentive; they checked in on us to make sure everything was fine, refill our drinks, and genuinely seemed keen to ensure we were satisfied. On the other hand, there are a few small areas for improvement. Some curries arrived lukewarm (not hot), which reduced the enjoyment a little. Also, the wait time was longer than expected when the restaurant got busy; dishes took a while to come out. If peak hours are busy, there might be a small delay. In summary: Bombay Spices Sdn Bhd is a strong choice for anyone in Kuching wanting authentic and flavourful Indian food, especially if you like your naan & curries well made. I’d recommend it, and would happily return.
